Endurance[]

Life in “Beantown” has given Jeszie the potential, stamina and strength she’ll need to survive on Endurance. This girl is always in motion — she swims, plays basketball, soccer and volleyball, and even does pull-ups on the “T” [Boston's subway] to bulk up for the grueling missions on Endurance. Jeszie has eight siblings and is very active in her community. She’s involved with the Boston Youth Fund, which helps clean up graffiti in the city and take care of young children in day camps.

At fifteen years old, Jeszie was one of twenty new teens selected to be a part of the fourth season of Endurance.

Jeszie was one of the contestants that made it through the right to stay. In the partner selection, Jeszie made it clear that she didn't want Franke as a partner. She wanted someone she could control and ultimately felt that Isaac would be a good match. She got her wish, as she was paired with him as E4's Green Team by Chris.

In Blocked, her team won the first endurance mission. When deciding who to give the samadhi to, she suggested Gray. Isaac was hesitant because he was close to John and had promised him that he wouldn't give the samadhi to him. Jeszie said it would be her giving him the samadhi and thus relieving Isaac of this burden. While Isaac was still hesitant, they did ultimately give Gray the samadhi. In Raft Pull, she, like most of the others, put sandbags on Blue and Gray’s spaces, thus ensuring they would use. Purple won the challenge and keep Green safe by sending Blue and Gray to temple, with Gray getting eliminated in the process.

In Drop Out, she was the fourth person to let go. Green was officially out once Isaac let go, placing them in 4th. While Erika was loudly talking to herself about surfing, Jeszie asked if she saw Green colored boards. Erika was the last one remaining and thus Red won the mission. When JD inquired why the teams were targeting Blue, Jeszie spoke up and claimed that it was due to their friendship with Gray and feels that Blue will now get revenge if they were to win a mission. Shae denied this, claiming that Isaac and Chris had his back. Jeszie also claimed that the girls were tight after Julie left (which the others found harsh). Red team later revealed that Green was one of the teams selected to be on their superteam along with Yellow and were seen as the stronger superteam. In Super Stumped, the superteams were initially in a tight race. However, her superteam at one point placed one plank on top of another which meant they had to jump off and fall behind in order to fix their mistake. They were unable to catch up and the underdog superteam of Blue, Orange and Purple won. Fortunately for Green, they were spared from temple with Red and Yellow having to go instead with the latter getting eliminated.

In Waterworks, she and Isaac were the first team to complete the mission and thus won another piece (bringing their total to 3) and once again having control over the samadhi. However, Purple came last in the mission and, as a penalty, are to be sent to temple automatically unless they win the next temple mission. Jeszie discusses with Erika about a deal where Green would give Red the samadhi and Red would let Purple win. In turn, Purple would send Blue and Orange to temple. Erika though didn't think it made much sense to give Red the samadhi as opposed to Blue. At the rock, Jeszie admitted to considering Michael a rat (which a number of other contestants seem to agree on) for his tendency to switch alliances. Regardless, Green still stuck with their initial plan to give the samadhi to Red. In Fireball, Jeszie was the catcher for her team while Isaac slingshot balls towards her. In the first round, she catches the ball as does Orange. While Green is safe, they must eliminate either Red, Purple or Blue. After a moment of hesitancy, Jeszie asks Isaac who he doesn't want to get rid of. He says Purple while Jeszie says she doesn't want to get rid of Red and thus eliminates Blue. Orange though eliminates Purple which insures they are going up to temple no matter who wins. In the next round, Jeszie is the only one who catches the ball and eliminates Orange. In the third round, both Jeszie and Erika catch the ball, which annoys Jeszie a little as she believes Frankie wants to send Green (though Erika insists Green is safe if Red wins). On the fourth round only Jeszie catches it again while Erika misses, giving Green the win. While happy about the win, Jeszie notes she and Isaac having differing views on who to safe as she wants to protect Red while Isaac wants to protect Blue. In a shared confessional, Jeszie tries to convince him to send Blue while Isaac wants to send Orange. Jeszie claims she isn't leaving until he agrees to send Blue but Isaac claims he won't leave unless they send Orange. They end up sending Orange to temple who end up losing to Purple and thus get eliminated.

Jeszie resented Isaac's close friendship with Amelia, claiming that she was taking his focus from the game and thus believed that Blue needed to go. In Hang 5, she hanged on to the bar, like the other girls, while Isaac was in charge of moving the platform. Green excelled in the mission and were the first to finish, winning them their 3rd mission in a row (4th overall), another piece (bringing their total to 4, tying them with Red) and control over the samadhi. However, Jeszie and Isaac have strongly different opinions on who to give the samadhi to. Jeszie thinks it would be logical to give it to Blue as Isaac was close to Purple and she was close to Red. However, due to his closeness with Amelia, Isaac didn't want to give it to Blue either. They also are unable to agree on who is the biggest challenge threat as Jezie believes Purple is the next strongest while Isaac thinks it's Red, especially due to Erika though Jeszie counters that Frankie's poor performance in that day's mission proves otherwise. The discussion between them becomes heated and they start shouting at each other. Jeszie keeps refusing to give the samadhi to Red while Isaac refuses to give it to Blue or Purple. At the rock, the two are still discussing who to give it to. JD inquiries why they turned from being happy at winning that day's mission to openly arguing with each other which they explain is due to wanting to target opposite teams. Amelia admits to being upset about the fighting and offers to accept the samadhi to stop it, a reaction that even has Jeszie in tears as she does not want to see anyone cry. Erika ends up whispering to Jeszie saying it is ok to give it to Red. When JD inquiries on Green's final decision, Jeszie hands Isaac the samadhi, allowing him to give it to Red. In a confessional, she says it was a hard decision as she was friends with Erika since day 1 and worried this might make her seem like a backstabber. The following day, Jeszie elaborates further that she made a deal with Erika saying that if Green didn't give Red the samadhi, they would agree not to send Green. Since Red did end up with the samadhi, Jeszie feels that all bets might be off. In Cubed, Green seem to struggle while Purple was able to complete the mission in 51 seconds. While Daniela strongly wanted to send Green due to their success in missions, Jonathan convinced her to send Red and Blue to temple instead to Jeszie's relief. Blue ended up getting eliminated.

Portrayal & Relationships[]

Jeszie was friends with Erika on the Red Team, and was an outspoken person throughout most of the season. These traits came to a clash with Isaac in the final four, where they argued about who to give the Samadhi to. At the Hill, she ended up breaking down, stating that she didn't want to see anyone cry. According to JD in Cubed, she was not the type of person to get emotional in front of people.

Quotes[]

  • "Red and Purple are the same thing; they are equal."
  • "If Isaac doesn't go my way, he'll have to hit the highway."
  • "Because everyone is upset [about the conflict]. I mean, while Amelia was talking, Erika talked to me and said 'I'll take [the Samadhi]'. ...but I don't want to see anyone cry; it just's hurts so much more...Erika and Amelia are trying to take it for everyone else. I'm trying to play the game the way it should be played, but Isaac's playing the game, for what's best for him. But we think two different ways, but it hurts everyone around us."
  • "I've made it clear to the whole world that I don't want Franke as a partner. And if I have him as a partner, I will scream!"
  • "Don't cry; it makes other people teary."

Post Endurance[]
