Ben is an avid soccer player, playing on his High School Varsity team. He went so far as to eat a raw egg and roll in mud at the same time to prove he's got what it takes to endure on his audition tape. He also loves to do pencil drawings of abstract art. Ben's extracurricular activities include involvement in Destination Imagination, Future Problem Solvers, Knowledge Bowl, Science Fair and the Student Council.

Benedict Theodore Scheuer is a former contestant and winner of the sixth season of Endurance: Fiji. He competed alongside his partner, Jordyn Barbato as the Blue Team.

Endurance[]

At fifteen years old, Ben was one of sixteen new contestants selected to be a part of the sixth season of Endurance. He also survived the right to stay challenge, making him an official endurance contestant.

Right before partner selection, he and Jordyn stated they were interested in pairing up. In the challenge, Ben almost made to one of the racks but Connor narrowly beat him to it. While he didn't win, Ben did get paired with Jordyn by Jonathan and Hannah. They picked the Blue color.

In the Sand Bar Relay mission, Blue struggled in the challenge and finished with the fewest pegs reached to their board.

Post Endurance[]

Ben attended Yale University, where he graduated in 2014 with a degree in Environmental Studies. He works as an artist and has many exhibitions; in 2020, he got his Masters in Visual Art.
